Privacy Policy

The short version
While you build a request, your project and contact details are saved in your browser on this device. When you choose Submit Request, ProHarbor stores the completed request — including contact details and the project address — so it can be matched with relevant professionals once matching launches. During the current platform phase, submitted requests are not yet distributed to professionals, and no professional is contacted.
Information we collect
A request can include service and project details, timing, a project address, contact information, optional photos, and the permissions you select. Before submission, the draft lives in this browser's local storage so you can leave and return. After you submit, ProHarbor stores the complete request. Sensitive request information — such as your name, email, phone number, street address, and project description — is encrypted at the application layer before it is written to our database. Please don't include unnecessary sensitive information, such as financial or health details, in project descriptions. If you email us, we receive what you send. Standard technical logs, such as pages visited and general device information, may be collected to keep the site working and secure.
Optional project photos
Photos are kept in a private storage bucket and displayed with short-lived access links. During processing, images are rotated when needed, resized when very large, and re-encoded without EXIF, GPS, or camera metadata. When you submit a request, its photos are attached to the submitted request and remain private. Unsubmitted photo sessions expire after about 30 days without activity, and removing a photo or deleting an unsubmitted request also requests deletion from ProHarbor photo storage.
How information will be used
Submitted requests are stored so ProHarbor can connect them with relevant local professionals when professional matching launches in a later platform phase. Until then, your submitted request is held securely and is not shared with professionals. You can review your submitted request from the browser you used to submit it.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't distribute submitted requests to professionals during the current platform phase.
- Project photos are never placed in a public gallery.
- We don't put your contact details or address in web addresses, page metadata, or analytics.
Professional accounts and business profiles
Professional email-and-password authentication is processed through Supabase Auth, including account confirmation and password-recovery emails. ProHarbor stores the account owner's name, business profile, selected service categories, and service-area ZIP codes for future matching. Business addresses are private account data during this phase and are not displayed publicly. No customer request is shared with a professional during Phase 5.
