Terms of Service

About this site
ProHarbor is a marketplace being built to connect customers planning home and property projects with local service professionals. The current site lets you prepare a quote request and submit it to ProHarbor, where it is stored securely. During the current launch phase, ProHarbor does not yet provide professional matching: submitted requests are not distributed to professionals, submitting does not guarantee quotes or responses, and submitting never requires you to hire anyone. Professional accounts and private business setup are available, but customer requests are not shown to those accounts during this phase.
ProHarbor's role
ProHarbor connects customers and independent professionals; it does not perform the services listed on this site and is not a party to agreements between customers and professionals. Customers are responsible for evaluating professionals before hiring, and professionals are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, and workmanship.
Professional Terms
Professional account and business information must be accurate, and selected services and ZIP codes must reflect actual business operations. Account creation does not guarantee leads. ProHarbor is not distributing customer requests during Phase 5 and has not yet reviewed professional credentials. Professionals may not misrepresent qualifications and remain responsible for licensing, insurance, and other rules applicable to their work. If customer information becomes available in a future phase, it must be handled lawfully and only for the relevant project. Future paid services will have separate pricing terms presented before any charge.
Fees
Preparing and submitting a request has no charge and creates no obligation to hire. Submission does not guarantee quotes, responses, or availability. When live customer and professional features launch, any applicable fees will be published clearly before anyone is charged.
Acceptable use
Use the site honestly: enter accurate project information, don't misrepresent who you are, and don't attempt to disrupt or misuse the platform. Only upload photos you have permission to share, and don't upload unlawful content or material unrelated to your project.
